This training program takes the operator through the initial start-up process, normal operations, temporary operations, emergency shutdown, post-tear down and inspection start-up. Special emphasis is placed on communication during the information gathering and hazard analysis processes. By incorporating interviews with on-the-job video sequences, this video communicates the importance of operator responsibilities and parameters, including knowledge of the controls, upper and lower limits, energy isolation functions, operating procedures and training, shut down procedures, personal safety procedures and how to use a variety of information and information sources to improve the safety and efficiency of the overall process.
