OSHA's HazCom standard 29 CFR 1910.1200 applies to virtually any employer with one employee and one hazardous chemical used in the workplace. Under this standard, employers are required to provide proper training on the chemical hazards in the workplace, along with right to know access about those hazards. With the implementation of the GHS standard, training must include how to read chemical label elements and how to read the 16 sections of an SDS sheet.
