This course is set to retire in January of 2026.If you work in the city of Chicago, there are specific regulations and rules regarding the bystander's responsibility to stop or report sexual harassment at work. The Chicago Commission on Human Rights defines bystander intervention as "safe and positive actions that may be carried out by a person or a group of people to prevent harm or intervene where there is a risk or perceived risk of sexual harassment to another." In this program, we'll define bystanders and go over their responsibilities if they witness harassment. We'll explain sexual harassment under Chicago city law and provide examples of what you might see.
