This course is set to retire in January 2026.Unfortunately, anyone can become a bystander to sexual harassment in the workplace. Being a bystander means hearing, seeing, or otherwise becoming aware of sexual harassment that's occurring, or that has occurred. As a bystander to sexual harassment, there are things you're morally obligated to do. And the one thing you can't do is just, well, stand by. In this program, we'll define who bystanders are, what their responsibilities are, and when it's appropriate to intervene in a harassment situation. We'll also talk about the bystander effect, why it happens, and how to prevent it by becoming proactive.
