California All California employers who employ 5 or more employees must provide 2-hours of sexual harassment training for all supervisors & 1-hour of training for all non-supervisory employees every two years
AB 1825 which added Section 12950.1 to the California Government Code and relevant amendments to the Code (AB 2053, SB 396, SB 1343, SB 778, SB 530) as well as 2 CCR § 11024
Connecticut All Employers in Connecticut must provide 2-hours of sexual harassment training to supervisors & employers with 3 or more employees must provide training to all employees, including out-of-state employees
Conn. Gen. Stat 46a-54(15); CHRO; Conn. Agencies Regulations 46a-54-200-207; Connecticut SB 3 (2019)
Delaware All Delaware employers who employ 50 or more employees must provide interactive sexual harassment training to all employees every two years
Del. Code Title 19, 711A (g); House Substitute 1 for House Bill 360
Illinois All employers with 1 or more employees working in Illinois must provide annual sexual harassment prevention training. Restaurants & Bars must provide supplemental industry-specific sexual-harassment prevention training to all employees
Workplace Transparency Act (SB 75)
Maine All employers with 15 or more employees in the workplace must provide sexual harassment training to all employees. Supervisors must receive additional supplemental training within 1 year of obtaining a supervisory position
Title 26 M.R.S.A., Section 806 & 807
New York All employers, including all contractors who bid on NY State contracts, must provide annual sexual harassment training to all employees including those not located in the state of New York. New York City further requires that such training be provided to all independent contractors & freelancers.
